Reynard Cook of Washington, D.C. sought in shooting death of Yolanda Stone

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) -  The death Sunday of a woman who was shot in February has been ruled a homicide, MPD reports, and police are asking the public to help find the suspect.

The shooting took place in the 3300 block of Alden Place, NE on  February 15, 2012, at approximately 7:22 p.m. Officers responding to the report of a shooting found 30-year-old Yolanda Stone suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

On Sunday, May 20, 2012,  Stone, who had been hospitalized since the shooting, died from her injuries.  Tuesday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide.

The suspect in this case is identified as Reynard Cook (AKA "Reyvon Stone," "Don Fitzgerald Hancock," and "Demarko Brown"). He is described as a 28-year-old black male, 6'3" tall, 165 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. He has a scar on his left hand and a tattoo on his left arm.
