VIDEO: Attempted Bank Robbery Suspect Wearing Hard Hat

RESTON, Va. (WUSA) -- Police have released a video of an attempted bank robbery suspect noted for wearing a hard hat and construction vest during the incident in March.

On March 20, a man allegedly demanded money from a teller at the  Bank of America at 748 Walker Road around 10:50 a.m. but then fled the bank without any money. 

The suspect was described as white, 25 to 30 years old. He was about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt and an orange construction vest. 

The video released on Friday, obtained from a business nearby, shows the suspect driving a dark Toyota with a Virginia license plate.
