BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA) -- It was just one year ago Sunday, when Detectives arrived at an upscale Bethesda store to find one young woman hogtied and another bludgeoned to death.

COMPLETE COVERAGE: Lululemon Bethesda Murder

The first is now in jail; the second one is being remembered.  Hugh Murray made a bittersweet appearance at Bethesda's Lululemon store, where his sister Jayna was beaten and stabbed to death by a co-worker- exactly one year ago.  Jayna's parents were too upset to come.

Some of Jayna's friends brought flowers too.  The small gathering was meant to remember and honor the young woman.

Co-worker Brittany Norwood was convicted of murdering Jayna  and trying to cover up the fact by claiming the pair had been sexually assaulted by two masked men who broke into the store.

Police say Norwood  had stolen merchandise and she killed Murray to keep her from revealing the theft.

Norwood is serving a life sentence for murdering Jayna Murray.
