ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) -- A string of sexual assaults has prompted an alert in Arlington. Police believe one man is responsible and he's assaulted not only women, but a girl as young as 13 years old.
Officers believe the suspect often hides himself, then pounces on women as they walk down the street. But some assaults have taken place at pools where the victims are Eastern Europeans working as lifeguards.
"This man has a very specific M.O. He's approaching women who are going to work at the pool coming up behind them and grabbing their breasts," said Detective Crystal Nosal with the Arlington County Police Department.
Police say the attacks started in June. The most recent case was last Tuesday. They say if you're walking alone, please stay alert, avoid texting or talking on your phone or even listening to music.
