FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) - A sixth alleged victim of the serial slasher called police August 1, 2011 and told them that she may have been attacked at the TJ Maxx at Fairfax Towne Center by the same man. The suspect wanted in five other serial slashings.
All of the victims have been young women. In the TJ Maxx case, a 21 year old woman said she was in the store in the evening on June 8th when she felt a pinch on her buttocks. As in most of the other cases, she turned around to see a man picking up clothes and thought she'd been cut by a hanger.
But when she returned home, she discovered cuts in her clothing. She did not require medical attention.
The first reported attack happened on February 14th at Fair Oaks Mall, where two other attacks occurred. One happened at the Marshalls in the Greenbrier Shopping Center and another at the H and M at Tyson's Corner.
