BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- Target is recalling 13,000 Circo Children's Task Lamps

The lamps can overheat, cause lacerations and pose a fire hazard. 

The recall includes four styles:

Striped:  Navy-colored head with sky blue and white stripes and blue lamp base - UPC number 490970221923

Sports:  White head with baseball stitch pattern and blue lamp base - UPC number 490970222685

Dot:  White head with lines of multicolored dots and lavender lamp base - UPC number 490970224047

Flower Dot:  Pink head with pattern of white flowers and leaves and pink lamp base - UPC number 490970221947

The UPC number is printed on the label located on the bottom of the lamp.

The $13 children's lamps were sold nationwide at Target stores from January 2011 to April 2011. 

Target has received six reports of the lamp socket melting, but no reports of injuries.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says you should stop using the Circo Children's Task Lamp immediately, and return it to a Target store to receive a full refund.
