Twenty-two-year-old Love, of Cockeysville, Md., was found dead May 3, 2010, in her Charlottesville apartment. Authorities say she died of trauma to her head. Huguely, of Chevy Chase, Md., is accused of entering Love's apartment and slamming her head into a wall.

The University of Virginia's women's lacrosse team retired Love's no. 1 jersey in March.

Huguely has been in jail since his arrest.
