Elizabeth Seton's girls varsity soccer team defeated St. Mary's Ryken 1-0 on Oct. 26.
(WUSA)- The Elizabeth Seton soccer team continued their successful season turnaround with a win over St. Mary's Ryken 1-0 on Oct. 26. At the time, the victory moved the Roadrunners to 8-4-2.
This season, Elizabeth Seton has leaned heavily on their senior class. Seton senior Tiffany Garcia scored the game-deciding goal, which upped her season total to three. Seton midfielder Nia Walcott notched the assist for the goal.
As of Nov. 2, Elizabeth Seton has dropped their last two games leaving them at 8-6-2. On Oct. 29, St. John's College nudged by Seton 1-0, and in a rematch from last week, St. Mary's Ryken doubled up Seton 2-1 leaving the Roadrunners at 8-6-2.
Elizabeth Seton will be honoring their seniors as they wrap up the regular season against Paul VI on Nov. 5.
