BALTIMORE, MD (WUSA)-- Baltimore Police say that at approximately 1:30 PM Friday, June 18, they were notified of an alarm going off in the 1300 block of South Charles Street in Baltimore.
A spokesperson for the police says that when officers arrived at the residence they could not find any visible signs of a break-in so they left the scene.
At about 6:30 PM a neighbor called police back to the location and, this time, they found a small opening in the back door to the garage. The neighbor helped them determine that two TREK bicycles, one red and one blue, had been taken. Police say that the bikes have an estimated combined value of $3,500.
According to the police, nothing else appeared to be missing and the burglars did not gain entrance into the main house.
Police say neither Jenna Bush nor her husband were at the residence when the burglary occurred but that they were notified by the alarm company.
