WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police say another person is the victim of a bump-and-run carjacking in D.C. We told you last week about the latest series of these incidents in Southeast and Northeast (http://www.wusa9.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=274655).
According to police, on Wednesday morning a woman had stopped her 2011 Dodge Charger at a traffic light in the 700 block of 13th St NE. Then, a blue Infinity 4-door vehicle behind her bumped her car, say police. When the woman got out of her car, the passenger of the striking vehicle, got out and spoke to her, say police. Then, as she was looking at at the damage, that person jumped into the driver's seat of her car and drove off.
Police say the suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion in his twenties, between 5'10" and 6' tall with an average build. He had short hair and was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, according to police. The description of the driver in the striking car was vague: a black male with dread locks.
The woman's car is described as a gray, four-door 2011 Dodge Charger, with Virginia license plates XGY-2244.
