WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A girl fought off an attacker in Washington on Monday afternoon, police said.
It happened at around 4:13 p.m. in the 6900 block of Willow Street, Northwest, police said.
"A juvenile female ... was approached by an unknown male who grabbed the victim from behind and groped her. The victim fought off the attacker and the suspect fled on foot," police said in a news release.
Police say a black male, 16 to 19 years old, with a thin build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a navy blue pea coat, knit hat and dark jeans.
