WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - He shook hands and posed for photos, and said the best thing about his job is meeting people.
'President Barack Obama', whose real name is Larry Graves, visited the WUSA9 newsroom on Tuesday, happy to meet constituents as he readies for the festivities of this upcoming inaugural weekend. Earlier in the day, he greeted surprised Metro customers at the Shady Grove station.
Graves, a Montgomery County resident, stayed perfectly in character as he said, "I've enjoyed being Barack Obama for one term and am thankful for a second term coming up." When asked what he'll do after the White House, he said "Go to Mount Rushmore."
Graves, whose resemblance to the president has him in demand for appearances especially now, said he enjoys what he does because of the people he meets - "Democrats or Republicans, because you can take something from all sides," he said.
