BALTIMORE (WUSA) -- A power outage on Tuesday morning caused problems for both MARC and AMTRAK trains.
All MARC Train service was suspended north of Martin Airport.
An Amtrak spokesperson said wires were down south of Aberdeen, impacting service between Washington, D.C. and Wilmington. Around 9:42 a.m. AMTRAK reopened one track for traffic between Washington and Wilmington both northbound and southbound. Trains were going at regular speed but delays were expected to continue as crews made repairs.
Then, shortly before 1 p.m., AMTRAK officials reported that service was restored from DC to Wilmington.
