UPDATE: All injuries are non-life threatening. The families of the wounded D.C. children are at Children's Hospital, and the wounded adult who took the children to safety has been identified.

According to Police, up to eleven shots were fired, and the two kids and one adult are at an area hospital receiving treatment.
WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC police say three people -- two juveniles and an adult -- were shot in the 1900 block of Savannah Street in Southeast DC on Monday afternoon. We are told the shooting may have happened at an apartment complex swimming pool.
A police spokesperson says the adult was shot in the leg, one juvenile was struck in the ankle and the other juvenile was reportedly shot in the back. The three people were reportedly flown to an area hospital.
