WASHINGTON (AP) - Police in the District of Columbia say they've made an arrest in a 20-year-old killing.
Lamont Terry was arrested Friday in South Carolina and has been returned to the District of Columbia, where he's been charged with felony murder while armed.
He's accused in the May 1992 death of Chet Hunter Matthews, who was found shot in the chest in Haines Point Park during a robbery.
A police affidavit says two accomplices to the killing who have already pleaded guilty for their roles and have agreed to cooperate identified Terry as the triggerman.
A lawyer for Terry did not immediately return a call seeking comment Wednesday.
