BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- Steelcase announced a voluntary recall of 165,000 of its Cachet swivel chairs.

The front seat support of the chair can crack posing a fall hazard.  There has been one reported case of a consumer being injured after the chair support failed.

The swivel chairs were made between May 2002 and October 15, 2009.  The model number, 487, and the manufacture date are printed on the label on the underside of the base of the chair.

The $600 Cachet swivel chairs were sold at authorized Steelcase dealers and retail outlets including Healthy Back Stores, CSN, Home Office Solutions, Office & Company and Sam Flax stores.
