WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Fall is in the air, and so is love.
Oprah.com looked at the latest scientific data and research and came up with 6 reasons why fall is sexier than any other season.
According to science, your testosterone levels spike in the fall. Scientists say sperm count is lower when it's hot so statistically, people are more fertile in the fall. Birth rates peak in the late summer.
Studies have shown that when it's cold outside more people are inside watching movies. Chances are it might be a romantic comedy.
Even men apparently are more willing to catch so called 'chick flicks'. More holding hands, fewer people break up than in the summer and more people change their status to 'in a relationship or engaged' on Facebook.
Jenny Corazza says, "I'd have to agree with that because I fell in love in the fall."
Apparently, women look hotter to men this time of year.
But some say whatever the season, there's no wrong time to find love. People change their status all the time because they want to fall in love.
Lastly, studies have proven, the smell of pumpkin pie is sexually arousing. So Thanksgiving dinner is a total turn on.
