ASHBURN, Va. (WUSA9) -- A woman is charged with DUI after refusing to take a breat test and then biting an officer, say Loudoun County Sheriff's Office officials.
According to authorities, the incident started at Belmont Ridge Rd. and Truro Parish Dr. in Ashburn late Sunday night. They say a deputy had conducted a traffic stop on a car driven by 57-year-old Nan R. Ciullo of Ashburn.
Then, after she was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, Ciullo reportedly declined to submit to a breath test. Authorities say she became "belligerent" and bit a deputy.
Authorities say Ciullo is charged with DUI, Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test and Assault on Law Enforcement.
