RJ Bentley's near University of Maryland target of armed robbery

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police had previously issued an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old DC man in connection to an armed robbery at RJ Bentley's.

Delontae Keevon Britton turned himself in to authorities today. 

Prince George's County police say that an armed robbery occurred near the University of Maryland campus Saturday morning.

It happened at the RJ Bentley's at 7323 Baltimore Avenue around 10:30 a.m.

The incident was reported to Prince George's County police.

The employees at RJ Bentley's told police that two males wearing ski masks were hiding behind the restaurant as employees prepared for opening, officials said.

The suspects then brandished handguns and took money and personal property from the restaurant, officials said.

The suspects fled in a car that appears to be a silver Acura with Maryland tags, officials said.
