Two More Arrested In NE DC Murder Of Akinwol Olu Williams

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- DC Police say they have arrested two more suspects in the murder of 31-year-old Akinwol Olu Williams om March 14. 

Williams was shot and killed while walking home from the Deanwood Metro Station. He was shot just a few feet away from his front door on the 1000 block of 44th Street NE., DC Police said. 

He was transported to a hospital where he died due to his injuries. Williams had just graduated from Catholic University in December with a degree in interdisciplinary studies, police said. 

On Monday, 20-year-old Floyd Neal and 19-year-old Lafeyette Robinson were charged with first degree murder while armed in connection with the shooting death.

Earlier this month, Deandre Shaheed of Northeast was charged with first degree murder while armed.
