(WUSA9) -- The Prince George's County Council will honor Buddy Check 9 and Andrea for her 20 years of work raising awareness about breast cancer on Tuesday.

Wednesday, on the 9th of the month, we're bringing the GW Mammovan to WUSA9 so you can see inside the mobile health clinic and learn how you can help keep it on the road, saving lives.

Since hitting the streets in 1996, more than 36,000 women have been screened in the Mammovan. About 125 cancers have been detected.

Then, on Thursday, we're not just talking about Early Detection, we're helping you practice Early Detection. The Mammovan will be back, parked in front of our building on October 10th so women who made appointments can be screened on the van.
