ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - The Washington Redskins are sounding like a rerun.
The dialogue was stale when the players returned Monday from their so-called "mini-bye" following a Thursday game.
The record still isn't good - it's 3-6. The NFC is still up for grabs - the Redskins are only 1½ games out of first. And, of course, there's still the memory of the season-rescuing seven-game winning streak a year ago.
Yet even the players are getting tired of selling that story.
Safety Reed Doughty says it's one thing to keep saying "we have a shot," but eventually the team has to win some games.
The Redskins visit the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
