BALTIMORE (WUSA) -- One super fan today first saw the Ravens win at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, then hustled down 95 hoping to see kick off of the Redskins game at FedEx.
"It's an NFL dream to be at two NFL playoff games in one day," said Jimmy Alignay of Fulton in Howard County, a community nearly the same distance from the two stadiums.
Alignay is the founder of an online community for both Redskin's and Raven's fans called RavSKINS.com on Facebook.
After witnessing nearly a full three quarters of the Raven's game, Alignay made the 32 mile run to FedEX field in a surprisingly smooth 40 minutes. He made it inside the gate just in time to hear the National Anthem at the Redskins vs. Seahawks game.
The last time both a Baltimore team and the Redskins were in the playoffs in the same season was 1983.
9News reporter Scott Broom was on his trail along the way.
