FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Danica Patrick has only one regret about purposely bumping Landon Cassill in her last race.

Patrick says it was an important step to stand up for herself at Kansas Speedway. The only thing she'd change is her execution. When Patrick spun Cassill in the NASCAR Sprint Cup race two weeks ago, she also wrecked her own car, ending her race early.

Speaking Thursday at Texas Motor Speedway, Patrick said it's "just not that easy to take someone out." But she's hopeful that she won't have to do much of that in the future.

After Cassill slammed into Patrick early at Kansas, she decided to nudge Cassill when he slid in front of her. Both of them spun out, Patrick slamming hard into the wall while Cassill saved his car.
