WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- With a gentle mix of west African beats, Go-go music and hip-hop, Christylez Bacon performed for people of all ages at a local elementary school.
"I'm trying to bring people together to knock down stereotypes, and economics and everything. My target audience is seniors, all the way down to young kids," Bacon said.
WUSA9's Delia Goncalves caught up with Christylez Bacon at Washington International School in Georgetown, where he played to a packed house of eager children. He even performed nursery rhymes like "Humpty Dumpty" for the kids.
"My goal is to do things internationally, to expose people from all over the world to what's happening in DC," he said.
