WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Take a look at these photos, courtesy of explore.org, of everyone's favorite panda, National Zoo-Born Tai Shan, celebrating his 7th birthday on July 9th, 2012 at the Bifengxia Panda Center in China. There are also some photos of Tai Shan from the past few years.
Panda lovers would probably be satisfied with this amazing gallery, but wait...there's more!
A Tai Shan live cam has been launched as well. Pandas International, explore.org, and the China Conservation Research Center for the Giant Panda teamed up and kicked the Tai Shan live cam off on July 9 from his new home in China. That means you can go online and see Tai Shan frolic and eat and be cute whenever you like. Check out the live cam here.
Additionally, for everyone who "likes" or shares Tai Shan's new live stream, one dollar will be donated to replanting a bamboo field that will feed both Giant Pandas at CCRGP and maybe one of the few remaining wild Pandas left in China's mountainsides. The target goal for the fundraiser is $500,000.
