WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- A report by a federal watchdog group says 137 community banks used government funds to repay the bailout they received during the recession.

The small banks took more than $2 billion from a special fund used to boost lending to small businesses.

And, according to the Treasury Department, the banks did nothing wrong with the way they used that money.
