DETROIT, Mi., (WUSA) -- General Motors is bringing back a legend.
The company showed off the new 2014 Chevy Stringray Corvette at the auto show.
The sports car returns to showrooms much sleeker with a much more powerful V-8 engine, new tail lights and a drastically different interior.
GM says the new Vette will exceed the 25 miles per gallon performance of previous model years.
The updated Corvette will go on sale this Fall.
General Motors did not say how much it will cost.
