DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Lions have announced a program to raise $15 million for cancer research.
The NFL club said Tuesday that the "Game on Cancer" is a 3-year collaboration with the Josephine Ford Cancer Institute.
The Lions say the campaign seeks to engage Detroit Lions fans in the fight against cancer through several initiatives. They include an interactive 3D website of Ford Field.
The team says that all proceeds will go toward cancer research at Josephine Ford Cancer Institute, part of Henry Ford Health System.
