NEW YORK (USA TODAY) -- Commuters took trains and buses to work. Families sent kids to school. Runners headed to public parks for jogs. While Americans cautiously eased back into their routines Tuesday, cities nationwide bolstered security in the wake of the devastating Boston Marathon explosions.
