Ronald Chekonik charged with burglary and destruction of property in Triangle
TRIANGLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man is accused of stealing from an acquaintance's home in Triangle this past weekend.
According to Prince William County Police, officers responded to a home in the 4000 block of Brady Hill Road to investigate a burglary at 11:47 a.m. on Sunday. A neighbor reported seeing someone going into the home. The homeowner was not at home at the time of the burglary.
Police say the homeowner reported food and a VCR missing.
Police found the suspect in the area. Forty-four-year-old Ronald Lee Chekonik of Triangle was charged with burglary and destruction of property.
