WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A jury in Montgomery County found a D.C. man guilty in the murder of 21-year-old Doodley Derose, say officials.
Friday, 17-year-old Trenton Robinson was found guilty of first degree felony murder, armed robbery, use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence and conspiracy to commit murder.
Doodley Derose was found Dec. 21, 2010 on the kitchen floor of a home with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He died at a local hospital.
Authorities later determined that Derose had gotten into a confrontation with two other males before his death, according to documents. It is believed that the males, Trenton Robinson and Corey Yates, had gone to Derose's home to buy marijuana. During their meeting, Derose was shot.
Robinson faces life in prison. He has a sentencing date set for January 3, 2014.
