WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Two people were killed in separate homicides this weekend in Washington, D.C.
Metropolitan Police Department officials say officers responded to shootings Saturday evening in NE and Sunday morning in SW.
At 6:29 p.m. Saturday, officers reported to the 2500 block of 14th Street NE where they found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead, police said.
The deceased victim is identified as 32-year-old Donald Isiah Jones of no fixed address.
The second victim is reportedly in stable condition.
At 3:08 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the unit block of Galveston Place SW where they found an adult male who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the victim as 25 year-old Derrick Marvin Baugham of Southwest.
