(USA Today) -- It's been working for Kim Kardashian. And Sofia Vergara.
And now do you think it's a good look for Johnny Depp? The star showed up in London on Saturday with blond hair.
He was a surprise guest, according to The Hollywood Reporter, as he stepped on stage to present Christopher Lee, 91, with a British Film Institute fellowship award. "It's my great honor to be here," Depp said, calling Lee "a great man, a very great man indeed."
Lee has been "a wonderful inspiration," said Depp, 50, who appeared in Dark Shadows and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Lee. He went on to laud Lee as "a true gentleman" and "a national treasure."
Depp is currently filming Into The Woods with Meryl Streep.
