Donald Ray Brown shot and killed in Southwest DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Detectives say a D.C. man was killed in a double shooting in Southwest late Wednesday night. 

Police were inititally called to the 200 block of K Street SW shortly before 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday but then were directed to the 900 block of 3rd Street SW, according to officials. There, they found 28-year-old Donald Ray Brown of Northeast D.C. Brown was taken to the hospital and was then pronounced dead, say police.

A juvenile female was also found with a gunshot wound to her hand, say police. She was taken to a hospital, treated and released, according to police.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone with information that leads to an arrest or conviction of the person or person responsible for the shooting. If you have information, then you can call police at 202-727-9099.
