FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA) -- Larry Horst says he's dying from kidney failure, and he believes he knows why.

Horst says he found out his kidneys were failing in 2007. But he says his doctor at the VA hospital learned the problem was documented in 1990, when Horst worked at Fort Detrick.

Horst says he had a Top Secret Clearance and worked everywhere on the base, as an Industrial Electronic Control Mechanic.

"I was capable of fixing or repairing any type of electronic apparatus that they had on the whole post," Horst says.
