ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple have agreed upon a friendly, tasty wager on Saturday's FCS championship game between Towson University and North Dakota State.

The governors each wagered a dish from their home state, with O'Malley slated to receive a case of North Dakota-made Dreamfields low-carb pasta if the tigers are to capture the football title.

"This game is an excellent opportunity to highlight our great state and the universities in it," O'Malley said in a statement.

"On behalf of our state, we wish the Towson Tigers, coach Rob Ambrose -- and everyone associated with the NDSU Bison -- the best of luck on Saturday," O'Malley said. "And Gov. Dalrymple, we look forward to enjoying pasta for dinner soon."

Should the Tigers fall to North Dakota State, O'Malley will send Dalrymple Faidley's crab cakes.

The FCS Championship Game is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, Jan. 4, in Frisco, Tx.
