ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins tight end Logan Paulsen says he's "cautiously optimistic" he will be play Sunday against the Cowboys.
Paulsen was on the field during the portion of practice open to the media Monday as the Redskins reunited after a five-day, bye-week break.
Paulsen sprained his left knee in the win over Oakland before the bye.
Tight end Jordan Reed also appeared confident he will play Sunday, and running back Alfred Morris indicated the same in an interview with ESPN 980. Reed has been slowed by a bruised right thigh, and Morris has been nursing bruised ribs.
The only player sidelined during the first few minutes of practice was backup nose tackle Chris Neild, who has a right calf injury.
Coach Mike Shanahan did not speak to reporters Monday.
