St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Brian Elliott stopped 34 shots and six
different players hit the back of the net, as St. Louis eased past Dallas,
6-1, at Scottrade Center.
Derek Roy, Chris Stewart and T.J. Oshie tallied in the third period to fuel
the blitz for the Blues, who kept pace in the tight race in the Central
Division with their third straight win and eighth in the last 10.
Vladimir Sobotka, Vladimir Tarasenko and David Backes also scored, while Alex
Pietrangelo picked up a pair of assists.
The win was No. 621 for head coach Ken Hitchcock, who moved past Bryan Murray
into eighth on the all-time list.
Brenden Dillon produced the lone offense for the Stars, who lost for just the
third time in their last nine outings.
Kari Lehtonen started but didn't finish the contest, pulled after surrendering
