LOVETTSVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office are looking for potential victims who used a Lovettsville-based dog sitting service and may not know prescription drugs were taken from their homes.
Authorities say 38-year-old Christina L. Garrett-Gates of Christy's Canine & Pet Care, LLC is suspected of taking prescription drugs from a home in the 38400 block of Kalb School Lane in July. According to authorities, residents there became aware that prescription medicine was taken from the home while they were out of town. Garrett-Gates was providing pet sitting services while they were away, say authorities.
Garrett-Gates was charged with Larceny and Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic in July. Since then, detectives have received information that that leads them to believe there may be other victims.
If you believe you were a victim, you are asked to call Detective C. Staub of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office at 703-737-8757.
