LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Maryland man has been identified as a suspect in the 2009 robbery of a BB&T Bank in Leesburg, Va., according to a news release.

Whitney Leroy Williams Jr., 29, of Glen Burnie, Md., is charged with robbery in the May 29, 2009 robbery of the bank, located at 7 West Market Street, police said.

Williams is currently behind bars in Maryland and he is awaiting extradition back to Leesburg, police said.

Police continue to search for a second suspect, described as as a black male, age 20-23, approximately 5 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, and wearing a black hat, red shirt and black pants.
