Stone Ridge Students are personal shoppers for those who are in need.
ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- They are personal shoppers making someone's day a lot easier. The girls from Stone Ridge of the Sacred Heart School in Bethesda MD made up their minds when they volunteered at the Interfaith Clothing Center in Rockville, they were going to make a difference.
So Ana Bengoechea and Beki San Martin decided after they helped unpack donations and stock the shelves they would comb through the racks of clothes to find the best items for clients.
They asked what size and hit the floor! Their personal shopping service proved to be popular and now they do it all the time. The idea was to make someone's day brighter and to help them maximize their time.
Sacred Heart Students also built a website: impelledtoact.com to chronical their work in the community.
