ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Howard County police have charged an Ellicott City man in three separate groping incidents.
Twenty-six-year-old Jeremy K. Ng of Whitworth Way is facing multiple counts of assault and sex offenses.
On January 6, police say they were called to the 5000 block of Columbia Road in Columbia for a report that a man grabbed a woman between her legs as she was walking into her apartment.
Police say the woman screamed and her friend, who happened to be an off-duty police officer, ran after the suspect and held him until officers arrived.
Officials found that the incident was similar to multiple others in 2013.
One incident happened at the Best Buy in Columbia on May 23. Police say a woman reported that a man groped her under her skirt while she was getting into her car. After reviewing a video in that case, police say they believe Ng followed the victim through the store into the parking lot.
Another incident happened on January 10, 2013. A woman told police that a man grabbed her from behind in a parking lot at the Mall of Columbia, officials said.
Ng is known to drive a white Dodge Ram pick-up truck and a light blue Mazda sedan.
Police are asking anyone who may have been a victim in a similar incident to call 410-313-STOP. Officials are not releasing his photo at this time so possible additional victims can identify him independently.
