WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- WUSA9's Bruce Johnson's sources say police never responded to a break-in at the Savoy Elementary School in Southeast D.C. on November 24th.
We're told the thieves took $40,000 worth of computers, TVs and iPads.
Sources told Johnson that the burglar alarm sounded all day but police never responded to the scene.
Additionally, sources say a nearby business owner had surveillance video of the vehicle used in the burglary but police supposedly never came to get it. That video is recycled automatically after three weeks so that video is now gone.
