WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- U.S. Capitol Police say a report on the Navy Yard shootings due to be completed by Oct. 21 will be delayed.
According to officials, on Sept. 18 the Capitol Police Board established a Fact Review Team to look into the facts regarding the Capitol Police's response to the Navy Yard shootings.
Officials say that due to the government shutdown there will be a delay in the completion of the report.
The findings and recommendations will be made to the Capitol Police Board in the near future, according to officials.
