WASHINGTON (AP) -- Washington police say a man accused of killing a brother and sister in northeast has been returned to the district after his arrest in North Carolina.
Authorities say 38-year-old Kevin Walker was returned to Washington on Thursday after being arrested Sept. 26 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Walker is charged with two counts of first-degree murder while armed in the deaths of Jamie Jenkins and Jamahl Jenkins.
Twenty-one-year-old Jamahl and 28-year-old Jamie were shot on East Capitol Street on July 20. Jamahl Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene; his sister died at a local hospital.
