October 1 is the day Americans will have new ways to purchase affordable health care coverage.

But, even before the official roll out, con artists have been hard at work trying to enroll people in fake programs to take their money.

Consumer groups stress that the government will NOT call, email or knock on your door to sign you up through the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
