Stephanie Mills and Olivia Newton-John were just a few of the celebrities who helped raise the roof of the Kennedy Center at Komen's 30th Anniversary of The Promise Gala. Wonder Woman's Lynda Carter broke it down no problem. Ambassador Nancy Brinker, founder of the Susan G Komen Foundation gave inspiring remarks as did actress Cynthia Nixon.

Former First Lady Laura Bush accepted her Lifetime Achievement Distinction Award in a sparkling navy dress. The night raised $1.9 million for breast cancer research, the most Komen has ever raised in one evening.
