WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- I loved high school and I love the NBA. Why?

Because you get to gossip about each individual person's situation. Whose dating who, whose parents busted them for having a party, whose face is full of acne.

In the NBA around the trading deadline, the league turns into high school all over again. Because of internet age, rumors surface about a certain team's love affair (or hatred) of a said player as often as they did in your high school. Most of the gossip turns out to be nonsense. Still, it's fun to listen to what's out there.

It is worth sorting through which teams are interested in two Wizards players in particular, and what they have to offer. JaVale McGee and Nick Young have both seen their minutes decrease in recent games. It's safe to say the organization is in complete evaluation mode on seeing how the Wizards would survive without the pair.

The market for both will be reduced because they both have expiring contracts. Teams aren't ready to fork over a ton of talent for guys who will more than likely test the market in July. Whoever the Wizards new general manger becomes will be hesitant in bringing both back. How will that change the losing culture?

The following are hypothetical deals I've seen across the internet and a few that I think make sense. Do you agree with any of these speculated rumors?

JaVale McGee

Possible suitors

Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics

Possible deals

Wizards send JaVale McGee to the Golden State Warriors for Klay Thompson and the Warriors 2013 1st round pick.

Wizards send JaVale McGee, Shelvin Mack, and the Wizards 2012 second round pick to the San Antonio Spurs for Tiago Splitter, Danny Green, Gary Neal and the Spurs 2012 1st round pick.

Wizards send JaVale McGee and cash to the Boston Celtics for Avery Bradley, Greg Stiemsma and two future second round picks.

Is it worth it?

I would say yes to all three.

Nick Young

Possible suitors

Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls

Possible deals

Wizards send Nick Young to the Los Angeles Clippers for Randy Foye, Brian Cook and 2015 protected 1st round pick.

Wizards send Nick Young to Chicago Bulls for Omar Asik, Jimmy Butler and a second round pick.

Is it worth it?

I would say no to the Clippers deal and yes to the Bulls. Depending on where the Wizards are drafting, I can see Young returning next season in a reduced role. You can't leave John Wall completely hanging out to dry.
