(WUSA) -- Just a few days ago, Montgomery County police Chief Tom Manger appeared on our broadcast with JC Hayward, urging support for Ballot Question B.

The act would change the scope of collective bargaining in some cases. Here's what Chief Manger had to say:

"The police union says it's about the quality of life for those who risk their lives."

Watch the in-studio interview with Marc Zifkak, the past president of the county's Fraternal Order of Police.

Among the questions asked were:

"Effects bargaining." As it stands now, can negotiate any action by the police chief that has an effect on employees.

Why do you want to keep the law as is?

Talk about how this affects the quality of life of your membership and families.

Do you have a sense of how public will vote on this question?
